About the Magazine
The Past
On Purpose Woman Magazine is the creation of entrepreneur, Ginny Robertson. In 2000, Ginny launched the On Purpose Woman Community offering heart-centered opportunities for women to connect in the Baltimore-Washington area.
The magazine grew out of the On Purpose Woman Community and was first published in December 2003. It was a free print publication distributed locally in Maryland and a digital version was added in 2014.
In 2016, Ginny stopped publishing and spent the following two years growing other aspects of her business, including her global presence. But she never lost the desire to restart the On Purpose Woman Magazine, especially when others told her how much they missed it.
The Future
After taking a two year break from publishing, Ginny brought back On Purpose Woman Magazine back in digital format.
While the magazine continues to give Maryland area brick and mortar businesses a place to advertise, our magazine is now read by women across the Unites States and around the globe.
